Beautiful hotel let down by the staff. Don’t waste your money on the Red level as we didn’t see any benefit. Had to chase up the room to be ready despite being promised an hour and at no point did anyone make the effort to explain the …
Hotel right on the beach in quite location just a short stroll from the the old town. Fantastic views. Great breakfast. Wonderful service. Beautiful pool with plentiful sun loungers. Red level service well worth having.
This place is so beautiful The garden looks amazing, palm trees next to the swimming pool, the lobby looks fabulous, it all flows together in harmony and if you sit outside you can relax and enjoy the view with a bloody mary. Life can’t get any better than this
Over paid. If you like a normal everyday coffee for 4.50€ to feel special, than it’s okay. Having options, I would not choose it.
Gran Melia Don Pepe Marbella
Thanks to Abel & his team, the breakfast team, and Rafa & Raul at the pool for another relaxing stay at this beautiful hotel. From start to finish everything was catered for. Constantly making improvements on perfection.
A few issues but overall not too bad most issues related to room size replacement of water in room and rudeness of one redlevel female staff member overall the development since last year to the hotel is really good especially Red level breakfast all waiting staff cleaning staff excellent
The most expensive parking lot (open air) in Spain, just because they “can”. I spent around 2h, and was charged 15 euros. This is not publicized clearly before entry, so it’s therefore an ilegal trap. Answer to the hotel’s answer: yes, the info is on the ticket machine which is inside the lot (in a dark corner), which nobody can see before entering the lot (or already inside). That tells the true intentions of the hotel: overcharging without really letting people decide if they want to pay their abusive prices or not.
This place is a total tourist trap. Big fabric to 95% frequented by Arabs. The breakfast isn’t fresh, the restaurants disgusting. You pay 7 eur a medium bottle of water! 90 eur a grilled fish. Rooms are tiny and be careful that they don’t put you in the non renovated part!beds uncomfortable and the management incompetent. Sad for some of the employees really worried about clients satisfaction. Toilets in the morning worse than in a public gas station in Africa. For children unadapted. Establishment to avoid!
Definitely our most favourite hotel in Marbella now, staff were very welcoming, friendly and couldn’t do enough to make sure our stay was perfect – red level is excellent and would recommend – Big Thank you to all the staff at Don Pepe we had a fabulous time and will be back.
We have been coming here for many years and must say the recent changes are quite beautiful. Red Level area is so relaxing. Abel and his team are an absolute pleasure, not forgetting Rafa and Raoul at the pool who look after guests so well. …
